INTERNATIONAL ART SYMPOSIUM
invite professional artists (priority is for artists-teachers from Art Universities) to the Symposium “Dialogue - 2014” to be organized by the artists of the Latvian Art Academy and heldb from June 17, 2014  to June 29, 2014
Our aim is make contacts in the all levels between Universities: exchanges of students and professors, scholastic and creative program.
Number of participants - 25.
Participation fee – 390 Euro.
Symposium time and venue:
From 17.06 till 28.06 at  “Zvartava Castle”, the Latvian Artists’ Union Creative Art Center  (160km from Riga) and  June 28 -29 in Riga, final exhibition opening in Riga on June 28, 2014. Departure on June 29.
Creative work at  Zvartava:
Topic is “Animals” – small size sculptures (in ceramics materials), paintings on porcelain.  Painters, graphic artists and whoever wishes have a possibility of painting in the plain air. Ceramists and sculptors have good ceramics facilities. All artists have a possibility to take part on China Painting Workshop and others.  Evening seminars – lectures about art, education, sharing of experience, presentations.
 
Participants:13 artists from the Baltic countries and 12 guests from other countries
Participation fee:   390 Euro. (100 Euro by bank transfer till  April 15, 2014, to confirm participation and 290 Euro is to be paid by arrival).                               
Fee includes:  
Accommodation in the shared room in Zvartava Artists’ Centre, studios, minimal set of
materials, firings, Workshops, 3 meals a day at Zvartava, transport to Zvartava and back, final exhibition in Riga and  advertisement. Your stay in Riga is not included.
You are expected to donate one work to the Artist’ Union of Latvia
