VERY IMPORTANT!
1. To all artists who are sending works on exhibition as temporary import - by ATA Carnet. ATA Carnet is an international customs document that allows the holder (artist) to temporarily (up to one year) import goods without payment of normally applicable duties and taxes, including value-added taxes. The Carnet eliminates the need to purchase temporary import bonds. So long as the goods are re-exported within the allotted time frame, no duties or taxes are due.
2. For all other artists which couldn’t use the ATA Carnet possibilities by DDP term.
"DDP- Delivered Duty Paid" means that the artist fulfils his obligation to deliver when the goods have been made available at the named place in the country of importation. The artist has to bear the risks and costs, including duties, taxes and other charges of delivering the goods thereto, cleared for importation.
In the event of any cost arising for the organizers upon receiving the works, the parcel will not be accepted and will be returned immediately at the artist’s expense.
The organizers of the exhibition assume responsibility for handling the works and for their insurance from the moment of their reception, during the exhibition and until the moment of their return. In the case of circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), the organizers cannot be held responsible.
