Sanja Perko – a physician from Zagreb, Croatia, born in 1969. Sanja graduated at School of Medicine at University of Zagreb,
and shortly after she discovered the world of clay.
From 1997 she attended ceramic training courses held by Ruza Raic
and later Dunja Kohn Mirkovic in Centre for Art Education of the City of Zagreb.
Sanja lives and works in Zagreb.
"I like to feel soft and supple clay under my fingers, I adore this wonderful feeling of creating from the "mud",
I love sweet anticipation, when I'm leaping eagerly like a child around ceramic kiln... This miraculous world of ceramics is
my "therapy", my escape from reality..."
